Kenya’s Moi University has re-advertised for applications from qualified candidates for the post of director of its Coast campus in Mombasa, a position the institution had advertised for earlier in the year.

Among the duties expected to be performed by the director include providing academic and administrative leadership of the campus, overseeing the processing of relevant payments, as well as preparation of monthly and quarterly reports.

An ideal candidate should be a member of the academic staff of the university, a senior lecturer having served as a director immediately following the lapse of the last appointment, and be in possession of a doctorate degree or its equivalent from a recognized institution.

Additionally, the candidate must have attended a management course lasting for not less than four weeks since the last appointment says the university in an advertisement.

According to the advert, the term for holding office is three years renewable once subject to satisfactory performance.

The last date for application is set as 21 June 2019.
